crystal cat litter users?!

I was thinking about switching my cats litter to crystals. I was wondering if they crystal cat litter is better then regular cat litter? Does it do good with stinky litter?

I bought a litter with crystals and it really did work with the odor.  It was a big difference.  HOWEVER, the crystals were a bit bigger and a different colour from the rest of the litter and one of my kittens started eating it and gave him diarrhea.  We switched back to our old litter and things improved.  So something to consider.

I use Dr Elsey's Senior cat litter (it's a silica gel/crystal). I prefer this one over the other crystals as it's very fine, so my cats' seem to like it better on their paws. I find it's good at odour control as long as you don't let it sit past 2 weeks.
