~Well one of the cats brought to me last week is pregnant. Sadly when she came to me she had just had babies...has full milk....so I assume she had babies in the woods where she was dropped...but those who found her found no babies. She went the first few days meowing LOUDLY like she was calling for her young ones. I had an appointment for later in the month to get everybody spayed/neutered but with an emergency visit to the vet today I went ahead and took ALL of them...being as though my vet for the last 7 years is 2 hours away from me...and everybody goes to get spayed/neutered tomorrow but Puddin' and Grace (who the kids have now named Zamora). With the exam today Zamora's fate tomorrow has been put on hold. She is indeed pregnant...however there is no movement...and she is not real big so the vet said she is only a few weeks or so along.~
~ I cannot imagine how she got pregnant so fast after having babies in the woods. It is a local drop spot for unwanted animals so Im sure they had to come across a male cat out there somewhere....but she still has milk for goodness sake! Sheesh! So once her babies are here...she will be spayed IMMEDIATLY! So whew...in a couple months or less I will again have kittens! I will be moved by then so at least it wont be AS busy as it is right now! 2 of the wild cats that come on my back deck seem to have given birth too the last few days! I cannot find them anywhere in MY yard but this block has tons of empty sheds and buildings so no telling where they had their babies. I just hate this time of year...when every stray I see is big and pregnant...and looking so alone and afraid~
