I've been feeding my cats Kirkland brand (Costco) cat food for awhile. Last time I was in the store I see that they now have an Adult Cat Healthy Weight and Hairball Control formula. This food in the light purple bag is about 10% fewer calories than their regular Adult Cat Maintenance formula. I'm going to try it with Squeak who has a tendency to be "plump". Dusty eats primarily canned, and she's eats the dry at night or when her dish of canned is empty. She doesn't have a weight issue - actually she needs to gain more weight.
I'm very impressed with the Kirkland brand cat food as the first ingredient is chicken or chicken meal. And the price is only about $14 for 20 lb bag.
