My cats:
Kaylee: 10 months old (mild stomach sensitivity)
Otter: 10 months (severe stomach sensitivity)
Roommates cats:
Midnight: Around 9 years (severe stomach sensitivity)
Rogue: Around 5 years (no stomach sensitivity (I call her the vacuum))
Story:
Okay, Rogue and Midnight were my foster babies before I handed them off to my current roommate. Both were fed Eukanuba Sensitive Stomach (dry) and a can of Friskies or Fancy Feist twice or so a week. Midnight was still having stomach issues. Well when I moved in, I brought Nature's Variety (dry and moist) and Weruva (moist). I noticed that her cats seemed to be eating my food a lot (although Rogue didn't like the moist), and I noticed Midnight wasn't getting as sick as much, so I convinced her to just put all the cats on the same food, and she agreed (which was great because it was getting harder for me to stop my cats from eating her cats food, and they would get sick). Well her cats took it in stride, Midnight was feeling better, life was good.
Then she went out and got Purina One Smart Blend. When I asked why, she said "Well, when you ran out of food that one day, I bought a small bag of this and Rogue acted like she was starving!" (I would like to point out that the cats would have been out of dry for only eight hours until I got off work, there was moist, and my cats and Midnight got extremely sick after eating it). I told her Rogue eats Nature's just fine (and she does. I can sit there and watch her eat it for like five minutes).
Well every night my roommate will fill a bowel of Purina, and put it in the bedroom with her and Rogue. Well sometimes she forgets to put it up before she leaves for work in the morning, so my cats get into it, and so does Midnight. Right now, I am dealing with three cats with diarrhea, and two cats throwing up. I KNOW its from the Purina, but she wont listen. Help?
(And on a side not, I am trying to move out, but I am not financially stable yet and the apartment in a 20 mile radius are freaking expensive).
