Hi guys
my cat " 1.5 years old ", have constipation , or this is what I think she is dealing with.

She eats fine, but she goes to the litter box one or two times only which makes me wonder if she is alright. But her belly is big, at first I thought that she is pregnant

I am scared, I hope there is no danger to her

please I need some steps to follow to help her
since it is 1 AM here in my country

I can't give medical advice, but some on this forum have used organic coconut oil for constipation.

How long has it been since her last poop? If she is constipated, you can give her coconut oil (like maggiedemi said), or pumpkin. But, if she hasn't been spayed and goes outside, then she is most likely pregnant.

Actually, she went outside and she came back injured " I guess she had a fight with another cat", I guess her last poop was before 15 minutes. Although she asks for food normally

Ps: she was pregnant before that, and had 4 kittens.
so this is not her first time

If she pooped 15 minutes ago, then she's not constipated, so she probably is pregnant. Get ready for kittens!

Well, now you know! Please keep mom inside and away from intact males. You can have her spayed when this litter is 8 weeks old. She can get pregnant again pretty much at any time after delivery.

Do you have other cats?

As cute as kittens are, pregnancies and heat cycles are a big stress on your cat's body. Getting her spayed will also help prevent diseases like pyometra and mammary gland tumors.

Please, feel free to ask any questions you might have about caring for a pregnant cat and raising kittens. And, I'm sure everyone would love to see pictures of her and the kittens once they arrive. :)

My cat has 2 kittens left with her, they are 6 months old now.
I booked an appointment with the vet to check her out, also to test her blood.. etc. :(

but what confuses me that her belly is much bigger than the last time ( she was pregnant with four only ).
I will update you

The six month old kittens also need to be spayed and neutered now, or they will start having babies.

She could have more kittens this time.

A spay is a fairly simple procedure that vets perform a lot, so it's nothing new for them. It is an invasive procedure, so your cat might be a little tired for up to a week afterwards, but after that, she should be back to her old self.

The spay is a one time cost that is essential for the health of your animals. It is significantly cheaper than taking care of litters or paying for vet emergencies as they come up.

Look up the spay neuter assistance program for your state...they do the procedure, give meds for pain and provide rabid shot if she hasn't had it, all for one low price, and even if your income level is above their rates ,their full price is still low....top price in nc is only $75....every state has a program

I had this idea in my mind, but she escaped twice and came back like that, at least I hope she is pregnant and not sick

I will check their program and prices tomorrow

Thank you so much <3
