I am trying to set up a reasonable feeding schedule for my 4 month old kitten. Due to long work schedules and a trip, I am trying to use an automatic feeder.

My plan was to let the Primal Nuggets defrost over 8 hours with an ice pack in the feeder.

This was the person who comes can just cone twice a day. It will also be used to solve an issue with us coming home to a starving cat after work.

The Nuggets say to feed them in a Stainless bowl. The feeder bowls are plastic.

Do I need to find smaller bowls that can fit in the feeder dishes?

The topics is supposed to be stainless. Darn iPad.

Some cats have problems with chin acne, which can be reduced greatly by not using plastic.  Plastic harbors bacteria whereas stainless doesn't.  Well...not as much as plastic does rather.
