Wishing you all the best for the trip, but you know that Sue!

There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, gas heat, a woodburning fireplace and a washer/dryer; the house is about 1600 square feet.
Congratulations! Boy, this brings back memories. I lived for a time in Goldhill, which is up Sunshine Canyon, outside Boulder, and was along the Continental Divide. I'll never forget going to sleep one night when it was raining and waking up to mega inches of snow (gulp).
That snow plow contract is going to be a very good thing
Yeah, Craigslist is quite awesome...you can find anything you're looking for!Originally Posted by Mom of 10 Cats
It helped that the local SPCA manager/animal control officer, who we've known and volunteered with for the past 3 years or so, wrote a letter of recommendation for us. He'd been to our place several times and knew a) we weren't hoarders b) the cats were loved and healthy and c) the place wasn't a pit.
I actually had about 6 places lined up with landlords willing to rent to us. Some asked for an extra deposit, one asked for a clause that we'd replace any damaged carpet, but all in all they were very cool about it.
By the way, I had posted a "housing wanted" ad on Craigslist with the specifics about our kitties on it, that was how I found the place we're moving to. I can't recommend that site highly enough!
