Coat color?

This little guy just stumbled into my life. I've never seen this coat on a cat before. Any idea of how it may evolve as he gets older?

Oh what a gorgeous kitten

That is a very beautiful cream tabby.

Cream is the dilute form of red/orange

He really did just show up at my door one day. I was intending on taking him to the adoption agency, but a month and a half later, I can't imagine life without him. His coat is rather rough to the touch (as opposed to my 14 year old silky-smooth tabby), and his ears are oddly large, and I've never personally seen a cat this color, so I didn't know if I had some weird breed or something

Thank you! Like all new parents, I think that my little one must be the most beautiful creature in the world. And, like all new parents, it's gratifying to hear that others find him as scrumptiously adorable as I do.
