OK, I'm giving a kitten to his new people on Friday (as long as they agree to the adoption terms), and have a quick question:
I heard somewhere that it's not safe to use clumping cat litter for young kittens b/c of the risk of ingestion. I'm especially worried about this with Ivan b/c he's longhaired (clumps might stick to his little behind hairs) - he'll be 10 weeks old on Friday. I'm using plain litter for him now, and want to tell the new owners this, but I'm not sure at what age it's safe to switch to clumping if they want to. Anyone know?
