So Cleo went to the vet on Thursday for a check-up, and because it seemed like she had brown/orange pus stuff in her stools. I thought they were her anal glands. So they observed her and it was not her anal glands. The 'look over' was pretty well, she gained half a pound! I told them I wanted a blood test done, so they did it.
Today I got the results, and her calcium is NORMAL! Everything was great, except her white blood cell count, which was low. So she is anemic. It was a 5 something, I believe. So she said watch her carefully for black stools. We have had a boon in the flea population, and we haven't treated her yet,(two weeks without), so that may have caused it?
