Yeah that's probably a good call. She'd probably start drooling all over the photo.Originally Posted by ugaimes

I'll admit to having wondered if there were a connection, if not to Cirque du Soleil specifically, to circus in general.Originally Posted by Cirque
And just incase there is any confusion.. I am not related to the Circus!I am glad you had a blast though
Medievel Times? I find that interesting that they liked that better than Cirque. I'm guessing Times was more up their alley. I've also been to Medievel Times quite a few times and I have to say that while it's a good show, it definitely doesn't get me nearly as much as Cirque. It's always interesting to learn about other's tastes though! Glad they had a good time regardless!Originally Posted by CJandBilly
My mom and dad went for a company Christmas party last Christmas. They said it was okay, but, they really liked Midevil Nights the best.
Yeah... Midevil Times.Originally Posted by katspixiedust

lol I know, right? After seeing that I felt like my own talents were completely uninteresting!Originally Posted by Leli
I saw it in Toronto last summer with my grandmother. We saw Alegria. It was great. I LOVE Cirque du Soleil....I always used to wish I could have been born to the contortionist family or something lol.
You've seen so many! How nice for you!! I was just telling my boyfriend last night that I want to travel to all of the permanent shows. They're all in fairly interesting cities, so what a great bunch of vacations that could be!Originally Posted by joanne511
ICirque do Soleil! The permanent shows have been the best I've seen so far. O was by far my favorite, but I loved La Nouba too. I saw Dralion and Varekai while they were touring. The touring tents don't have as good viewing as the permanent sites do. Next I want to see Mystere, KA, and Zumanity!
Yikes ours were certainly not $110! I'm too poor for that!Originally Posted by brianlojeck
Pretty soon they are going to rename Las Vegas after Cirque. I think there's 5 full-time shows there now (O, Ka, mystere, zumanity, and the MGM's got one coming...), plus I"m sure more will come as other shows lose their leases.
I've seen them on DVD, and seen similar acts, and they are fun, but I'll be d*mn*d if I'm going to pay $110 for an obstructed view seat of a swimming French clown.
(correction, they are CANADIAN clowns, not French)
I would figure that ticket prices would be higher in Vegas than in Orlando anyhow. Not that I've ever been there, but it would just seem that way.Originally Posted by brianlojeck
yeah, the $110 lousy tickets are for Bellagio's "O", which is water-based, and freakin expensive...
Prices may be different now, last time I checked was a couple years ago...

I wish I could have taken pics, but due to the dangerous nature of the act the flashes would put the performers in danger so cameras are prohibited. The only pics I have from the night are of Brendan and I, and quite frankly, that's just not as awe inspiring as the show itself!
