Dear catsite folks, I have a new situation I'm quite worried about. My best friend has a 1&1/2 year old cat she rescued when she was only 8 weeks old. She has just discovered that this cat has Chronic Bronchitis after taking her to a specialist when she noticed the cat was not coughing up hairballs etc. She is giving her the prednisolone the vet prescribed and having a Terrible time getting th e cat to take the medicine, the vet wans t to change the treatment to a inhaler and am wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this and knows any tricks to get the medicine Into the cat somehow someway as it's so important or she could die.from it.
The vet has told my friend that this cat could die if she has an attack and no one is around to intervene and provide treatment . Now my friend is terrified ro leave the cat alone at all.
I'd really appreciate anyones imput about this problem.thank you!!!
