I have decided to do a new thread about children since I've seen on another about how children are becoming in this age. Here is a question? What are substitue teachers supposed to do? Are they just supposed to sit in a classroom and read their magazines or their papers? Or tend to children. I am asking this because when I was in the eighth grade, I was in an english class with some other children. The sub sat in her chair and was reading a book. Did the kids the work? no. They spent the entire hour throwing things out the windows, throwing spit balls at the chalkboard, and other things. The sub did't realize what was going on until it was almost time for class to end. When she saw all those wads of paper on the board and on the desk, she went to get the principal. He had the entire class held over until the students confessed. I, a 14 year old, couldn't say anything about the sub. I didn't know better then. Now I do.
