cheap cat litter suggestions

Anyone have suggestions on cheap cat litter?

Lately I have been buying 40lbs of Precious cat litter for $15 on Amazon. I know petco litter is cheaper, but it is too dusty for me.

Any other suggestions?

I don't know what all you've tried, but I really, really like the chicken crumbles from Tractor Supply for use as cat litter (thanks to @bigperm20 for making me aware of this!).

As litter goes, it doesn't get much cheaper (50# for ~$17.00 at my local store), it's so light weight that it goes much further than a comparable amount of clay litter, and most (but not all) of the cats like it. Downside is the lack of odor control, but in my situation that is not a concern.

I use non clumping kitty litter, the Tractor Supply Brand, Paws & Claws. $4.49 for 40lbs. If you want clumping they also have it for $10 for 40lbs.
