Hi all-
So I'm going through a second bout of Hepatitic Lipidosis with my girl, Fendi. The first time around was scary but she bounced back in a week and we had her tube out in just over a month. This time, we caught it really quick but she's not responding as quickly. She's been really nauseous and not keeping too much down. You can imagine how upsetting this has been. Our vet prescribed cerenia and I gave her the first dose today. An hour later I fed her and then she slept. About an hour and a half later she got up used the litter box and on the way back vomited. It wasn't a lot at all but my questions is, is the cerenia something that works better after a while? Should I expect more vomiting or should it start subsiding?
Thanks, I've been such a mess this time around. Last time everyday she made progress. This time she just seems so down & out and I'm a mess because we're doing everything we can and she seems the same.
Anyway, thanks in advance for your responses.
