Cat's ear seems abnormal

Does anybody know what this could be, if anything at all? As far as I can tell, the other ear is okay. I'm taking her to the vet in a few weeks anyways but I wanted to make sure that she's not in need of any urgent care. I don't think it has been bothering her.

Can you send that 2nd photo to your Vet and get their feedback? That's what I'd do. It looks like she might have ear mites (the black stuff in the canal), but I sure don't know what that larger blob thingy might be . So she's not shaking her head, or scratching her ear or anything like that? If those were mites, I would think they would be bothering her.

That's a good idea, I'll send it to the vet. I just noticed this today so I haven't really been observing her behavior too closely. I just know she hasn't been acting like anything is bothering her. Thanks for the advice!
