Cats inherit half of their DNA from each parent, with the exception of sex-linked genes. Why do you ask?

Also, tabby is a color pattern, while Bengal is a breed. Most Bengals are tabby, but most tabbies are not Bengals

If (and I mean IF tons of tabbies are called bengals but are not bengals) the kitten is a half bengal the kitten would still have the typical bengal energy. They are crazy high energy cats and not for everyone given their needs.
