Cat Window Seats?

So I see these cat window seats that are held up by suction cups on the window. Are these safe? I have a 16lb cat, and I’m afraid he’ll pull it down the first time he gets in it. Anyone use these? Any tips? TIA!

I have one of those and I, too, have a 16 lb. cat and worried whether it would hold. It holds him just fine. He sits up there all the time. We have four cats and one or the other of them is always jumping up on it.

One of the suction cups cracked after several months. I contacted the manufacturer to buy replacement ones, but they sent me some free of charge. Since I've put the new suction cup on, it's held up fine.

Those seats hold two of my cats on a regular basis. That's 20 pounds weight total.

That's good to know. My cats aren't good at sharing.
