Hello guys, I'm new here and I joined because I have a question and I hope one of you might know. I have a cat, about 10 years old, named Luna. She generally healthy and a happy cat. She likes to play and what not. Sometime earlier this year she began to wheez a bit. Over time everyday she was wheezing and wheezing and we were afraid it might be astma(sp). We took her to the vet and she gave her a shot saying it should last the whole winter. It didn't seem to work so the vet told us she didn't have astma, so they took an X-Ray of her lungs. From what they told my mom she has a black spot in her chest that they can't identify. They asked her if she is still active and everything (normal pretty much) and my mom said yes. If she wasn't normal then the vet would have said she might have cancer. She said it might also be an infection so she gave us some anti-biotics which I gave her for about 2 weeks. It seems like it hasn't helped either. She is still wheezing so tomorrow I plan to call the vet again. Just today though she had a major episode and went for about 2 minutes straight of wheezing and I can tell it was worse then I have ever seen it before. When she was done you can hear strange sounds and she was totally exhausted. Her eyes were low and she just stood there, in complete stillness still making these weird breathing sounds. Well there's a general explanation of her current health. Please if anyone has had any similiar situation with their cat or know anything, please help me. Luna is the love of my life and I am really worried about her. Thank you.....
