I was just wondering if anyone had one of these. I've been thinking about buying one, but they are a little steep in price. Does anyone have one that their pet likes or enjoys? Would you get one for the right price?
I don't live in the country, but there aren't any sidewalks. It's either in the road with these crazy drivers or on the grass. Petgear makes two types for this. One is the All Terrain 3 (AT3). It has three large wheels and is supposed to go off road. That's currently aroun $189.00. They make a Jeep Rubicon jogging stroller that has three large air wheels. Not sure how well it would do off road, but it's extremely similar to the AT3. Then there is their Jeep Wrangler stroller. It is exactly like the pink happy trails except it is supposed to be more rugged and has different wheels. That is around $100. Kittywalk makes three SUV strollers for off road. The cheapest I could find is $189.i need something rugged since i live out in the country.. but maybe one day..
That is very true. I use the strollers often for vet visits. I also have two bags I use if I'm only taking one kitty. One is a Samsonite Pet Backpack http://www.travelinnovations.com/sto...p?SKU=SBP-1000. It can be used as a backpack, over the shoulder or via carrying handle by removing the straps. Very convienient! I also have a Sherpa bag in this style http://www.sherpapet.com/products/de...ddetail_post=Y. My design has a tapestry of cats and it was $25 at my vets office! These bags are awesome! Much better than any carrier. They both completely zip to enclose the cat. The sherpa also has a leash ring. We've only used one of their hard carriers twice in the past five years. The first time is when we had to drive Karina to Florida to see a specialist and the second time was when Chester was leaking urine and had to be transported back and forht between vets. It reminded me of how difficult those things are. This would make my life so much easier, not to mention wear and tear on my arms and shoulders.
I paid $88 for mine which was more than I could afford. I have heard of other members getting good deals though. If I see any, I'll let you knowOriginally Posted by howtoholdacat
My husband objects to the price tag though! I'll have to sell some stories or something to save up.
