Hi! My cat had to get a c-section and the vet spayed her at the same time. Today is the 3rd day after the surgery, and I am a bit worried about her incision. She is very active and I struggle to calm her down and prevent jumping...

Looks ok to me. Is she wearing an Ecollar to prevent her from messing with the area?

Call the vet with your concerns. Some will allow you to send photos for them to view instead of having to drag the cat into the office.

Thank you for your reply.
I don't have an e-collar, but I DIY-ed a shirt for her and I will be contacting my vet just in case!

Looks pretty good for three days. Instead of the cone, you can use a sweat sock to make a onesie if she's small enough, too. As long as she's not licking it a lot, a little bit of cleaning on her part isn't a problem. Just watch her pretty closely.

Thank you for your advice.
The vet said it was okay and gave me a creme to put on two times a day. :petcat:
