Did your phone autocorrect for desex? She should let the vet know about him being missing and what you all have been observing since he got home. Ask the vet if it is safe right now.

Someone told me that if you put there litter box out in front of your house they'll smell it and come back home. I don't know if this is true but it's worth a try.
