Is it normal for a cat to leave a room you are in then start meowing really loudly when it can't see you? My 6 month old kitten has started doing this. Over the months he's become very vocal when we get home, around meal times and when he wants to play - all of which I think is quite normal, but lately he'll leave a room we are in, even if we are giving him attention, then just start yowling... I've never seen a cat do this before!
