He isn't old, he's only about a year or two old.
Basically the other day, my cat got out in the morning, around 10:00AM and we couldn't find him for probably 20 minutes or so.
We found his butt and brought him back inside.
Next thing you know he's hiding from everyone, and has a limp on his right front arm.
The limp has disappeared a little, but he has a "wound" on his back thigh, and we assume its another animal bite. Every time we try touching around the wounded area he tends to meow and get angry with us.
We cannot really see a wound like bite marks, or claw marks.
We found some fur in his claws after he came back, and we assume it's Racoon Fur.
We can only assume at this point, but tomorrow morning were bringing him to the vet for sure to see whats wrong.
Also a second question if no one can really guess whats wrong with him, but...
If he got a rabies vaccination about a year or two ago, can he still become infected with rabies?
And if he is infected, is there any treatment. He was only injured yesterday...
Thanks
