She does not seem to react when I touch her gums. She was hurt a few years back and broke a few teeth. Could this be an infection or something worse? I am going to the vet Monday but really want some advice before hand. Im so nervous
I'd love to see more mouth pics, please remember I am not a vet and am giving my opinions based on my experience as I have seen and dealt with in my cat rescue group and/or my experience working with the Humane Society.
I have some education through UC Davis medical teaching school as well that I use in rescue too.
But knowing you are seeing a vet on Monday, I'm okay with giving my opinions to help get you through until then
I greatly appreciate your input. She wont really let me get in there just a side view. I did get a quick look in the mouth earlier and I am pretty sure I saw the tip of the tooth sticking out in there. I read online that Gingival Hyperplasia can cause gums to get "tall" and she has that. Im just praying it is not tumor.
