My cat, Jack somehow got one of his whiskers cut. And the new cat my mom just adopted came with one whisker cut.
Both whiskers are still 2-3 cm long. Will it affect the cats? All the other whiskers are intact. (No one in my family would cut the cat’s whiskers on purpose).

Hi. As said above, it shouldn't be a big deal as whiskers are just like hair - they do fall out and new ones grow. But, just to share what I have read before - I have heard of cats biting whiskers off of other cats, and I have heard that they can break/snap off just like human hair during brushing (or, in a cat's case, grooming). What you are seeing might even be a new one growing in! I have not personally seen it in any of my cats, but I probably have just 'missed' it happening.

I had this happen when I had two cat's I even asked my husband and son if they had been near the cat's with scissors. Then I saw Patches biting Tik's whiskers when he was grooming him. It happened a few times.
