My 10 month old cat got spayed 4 days ago and her incision looked fine on the first day(picture attached), but today I noticed she had some blood on the incision and this little red ball attached to it(second picture). I don’t know if her wound opened up because she likes to be active even when she is confined. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The area looks very red to me. Are you able to take her back to your vet or at least send those photos to him. I would certainly keep a close eye on it.

I am not sure if what I'm seeing is redness, or a bit of bruising, which is normal after surgery. As for the incision itself, there appears to be a very small opening, which is not absolutely unheard of. There will be internal stitches, as well as external. The amount of blood is very small. I would suggest sending the photos to your vet, and asking if you should bring her in.
