Cat Haiku

As I understand it, a haiku is composed of 5 syllables on the first line, 7 syllables on the second, and 5 again on the third. So, send in your cat haikus here. I’m no expert, but giving it a go…(it probably shouldn’t rhyme, I think, as mine does).

Cat is reposing
His rosy toes composing
A bouquet of love

Merlin the Wizard

noble ginger cat

I love him so much

Smiley cat meezer
What are you going to do now?
Sit on mum's shoulders

Please please please now don't
Do a stinky mooshy poop
Yes I will do that

The cat jumped higher
Than his best friend the dog could
Everyone admired

By the window, Casper sits.
He's watching out for birds.
He turns to look and says to me,
"Haikus don't need words."

I laughed. He winked.
I scratched him on the chin.
A moment's pause to contemplate,
He kindly clued me in.

Blink. Yawn. Stretch. Meow.
Growl! Caterwaul! Swat! Swat! Hiss!
Meow. Churrup. Purr...

I laughed and smiled and so did he.
It was a sight to see!
I never thought I'd see a cat,
