My little black and white cat LB has recently started getting bald spots on the back of his ears and thinning between his eyes and ears. No issues anywhere else and not a lot of scratching or itching, no signs of fleas or anything like that and I’m not noticing him doing a lot of grooming or anything either but I could be missing something too since I’m not able to watch him constantly. My other cat also isn’t having any issues. I’m just not sure what’s going on and hoping y’all might be able to help.

Dad gum it...we JUST had a thread about the same thing last month, and I cannot remember who it was, nor enough to effectively search it. My first thought would be that this could be a food allergy, or some other allergic reaction. Like humans, cats can develop an allergy to anything at any time. My second thought would be some fungal infection other than ringworm, as it is not shaped right nor "bumping up" like ringworm does.
