Peony's limping, every time she walks one her back left leg her back hunches. Does it sound like a cat bite?
Could you maybe show her this thread? How is Peony doing now?Try telling my mom. If I could drive and had the money peony would have been to the vet two days ago...
I've tried that, but she fights against it and in doing so she gets her hind legs under the towel...I don't know what you've tried, but if you get someone to help you, and wrap the front half of Peony in a big towel like a burrito (make sure she can still breathe of course!) and have that other person hold her front end you might be able to get a look at that back leg. Just an idea.
I hope she feels better soon!
Some cats are just more accident prone than others. I have cats that have only ever been to the vet to be spayed and have their vaccines, I have others that need to be taken in every few months.Same here. I've had Peony for 2 years and this is the third tike she's been pronounced vet-worthy by my parents.
The first time, she was a kitten. We'd had her for 2 months one morning I found her in the crate we had made for her that she never went in. She was crouching with her nose swollen weirdly and pressed to the ground. It was a week, maybe more of this, before my mom finally decided we should take her to the vet. Second time, last summer, she had a bite on her front leg. It started as a limp, got worse, we finally took her to the vet and got antibiotics the day before we went to Outer Banks for a week.
