tassee is short hair but she cleans herself a lot some times she coughs up hair balls I have a friend whos cat died choking on a hair ball now im afraid this is going to happen to tassee it happen so fast with my friends cat

Can you brush her more frequently, so that she's ingesting less hair at a time?
You could maybe consider adding a teaspoon of plain pumpkin to her food now and then.
Also if you're only feeding kibble, try and add a can of wet food to her diet sometimes.
All these things will help her digestive system

get a good cat brush, and brush her daily, can be a quick daily brush, just a few min. Then once or twice a week give her a good long grooming. I also got a Furminator for cats, it works wonders. I use it every week or two, then the regular cat brush the rest of the time.
