I'm going to order that Oxford one from Amazon. Shouldn't really need it much but good to have on hand.
I like them. I've got one for each cat. Haven't used both at the same time since I got them, but tomorrow both girls have a vet appointment

According to the review on the wheels, they can only be used on the Marchioro brand carriers. I don't see how they would work on other carriers that don't have built-in sockets to snap the wheels in.I would like to install wheels on one of my hard shell cat carriers to make it easier to bring a heavy cat to the veterinarian's and found this:

My son will look it over to see if they can be installed on one of my bigger carriers. Then all I would need is a long handle or strap (easily installed) to pull the carrier. The other option would be to put 4 pieces of wood together, perhaps even a piece of plywood cut the size of the carrier and install wheels on that piece of wood, and then simply sit the carrier on that using a piece of that rubber shelving liner to prevent it from sliding. If anyone has a better, easier idea, please let me know. I know the newer canvas carriers have wheels, but I shy away from them fearing my cats would claw the mesh and destroy it.
Thanks! YES, It was a great find. I am VERY happy with it. Especially for the price & size! It is nice to have that option, although, I haven't had to use the top load. Sense he doesn't like getting in there when he knows we are going to the vets, I just put it up on the washer like that, & put him in it! It's So funny, as much as he hates getting in to go, he can't wait to get in, when it's time to leave the vets!@Angels mommy That carrier is so pretty! I love the pawprint ventilation holes. Isn't being able to choose between loading from the top or from the front great?
Thanks! Yes, I am SO glad I found it!!! I looked on a quite a few sites checking for the right one, comparing prices, products, etc..& this was such a great one for the big size & good price!
Oh I love that one.
Oh my gosh I absolutely love this carrier! I haven't picked my Maine Coon kitten up yet as he's too young to be away from mummy so researching everything now. Thank you for sharing! Definitely given me ideas what's out there!OH, I forgot, I was going to post pictures, it's much easier to see the real size of it from home pictures, & w/ a big kitty in it!
The top load is nice too.
This shows the size difference to the old one. (which was a medium) "Finally checking it out...w/ the help of some treats!" ....Then backed right back out. LOL!
Good thing I held on to his old small bed! It did the trick! Worked great when he didn't want to get out at the vet's too, she just slid him out in it!
