Cat came back after 3 mos. and a week.

I think she left because there is another cat that she doesn't like.

I was planning on getting her spayed but she left right before.

I still want to get her spayed but am not sure what to do next.

Should I board her until I can put a cat fence up? Or will that agitate her and make her want to escape even more?

She was a stray when I found her and she loves the outdoors and I've tried to keep her in once before and had to one time when the neighbor was fumigating his house (cause she'd go under) and she was always very difficult.

I know where she goes on the other side of the block I think.

I'd get her spayed and ask the vet to board her for a few days longer while she recovers. I'd then get the fence up and hopefully that will keep the other cat out of your yard. I'm sure you will both feel better for it.
