Greetings,
We have a 14-year-old American Shorthair “Tabby†that weâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve had since she was a kitten. “Belle†is a house cat and never goes out. But she has long had a problem keeping her food down at times. This was tolerable when we had largely bare wood floors that could be easily cleaned.
Then we moved into a condo with wall-to-wall carpeting. Before long, it became multi-spotted to the point where we have to get the carpet cleaned. But, what is to keep “Belle†from soiling the carpet all over again? BTW, commercial carpet-cleaning pet sprays are unsatisfactory since they leave spotted areas of their own.
We feed “Belle†moist and dry food a few times a day. Some days sheâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s fine. Other days she doesnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t always keep her meals down. Why is this so? What can we do to alleviate this problem? Is this a vet problem?
Thanks.
