Hello all! I'm New here so I'm hoping I'm doing this right.
My cat Binx (10 months old male) was treated Monday at the Vet, he was diagnosed with asthma and bronchitis. Poor baby was struggling and I just thought it was a hairball issue. Glad I brought him in! They gave him 2 injections, Depomedrol and Convenia (steroid and antibiotic). Before I brought him in even though sick, he was playful and alert but since the meds he's been not wanting to play, way more vocal than normal and sleeping a lot more. He's eating and drinking normal...I been adding water to his wet food to make sure he's hydrated. All his bathroom habits are good and his breathing has improved significantly. Should I be alarmed by his behavior or are they likely side effects of the medication? I have a very low income so I can't keep bringing him back to the vet, however I will if I need to. I love my lil furbaby and I'm just worried. Any tips or advice is appreciated!
