Cat acne on chin.

Anyone else experiencing the black specs under their cats chin? Which products do you use to eliminate it?

Do you use plastic bowls for water and food? If so that could be the culprit. Plastic harbors bacteria. I've heard of people treating feline acne with everything from chlorhexidine to Listerine to Stridex pads. It's fairly simple to resolve.

Try washing the area with clean warm water and dap some witch hazel on it, twice a day if its only mild and black specks.

no plastic! We do have a couple plastic toys, but not sure if it’s a difference. We use stainless steel bowls for their food.

and he just has the simple black specs. No infected acne as of yet, thank god. So I’ll try some witch hazel thank you!
