Please help carlos. My friend got his hair cut at a vet. The vet was told to do sedation only and not anaesthesia. Cat was fine before. The vet chose anaesthesia and now my friends super sweet cat is wayyyy different. They brought him back to the same person and she gave antibiotics. Next my friend dealt with the probs aferward. He was fine at first. Lethargy, loss of appetite, black stools and throw up with black specs. Most likely internal bleeding. Cat had all shots and his other cat isnt suffering. My personal diagosis is the wack assistant did the anaesthesia wrong and now organ failure. Its now 2.5 months later. Please help carlos. Hes about to be euthaized if we cant figure it out. He cant afford 10,000 in specialist costs. He lives in Klein 77379. Please help this bad ass cat that held on for so long.

Why did your friend tell the vet to avoid anesthesia?

If it were my cat, my first order of business would be finding a new vet. I certainly wouldn't take my cat back to the vet who injured him. And I seriously doubt that your friend can find any good answers by taking Carlos back to the same vet, since that vet has a good reason to avoid looking at the possibility that he or she is responsible for Carlos's illness.

Your friend needs to take his cat to another vet urgently.
There's nothing we can do to diagnose or help in this situation.

They asked for sedation and not anesthesia but they gave anesthesia and now it seems that Carlos either has Parvo or organ failure from incorrectly given anesthesia. His appointment with the new vet he saw last is at 2:30. The last time they visited the new vet they gave him a checkup and they didnt see anything wrong and suggested a specialist which can be absurdly expensive. My friend cant afford it. The vet said they would give a wellness check before euthanizing him but Im guessing theyll say they dont see anything. Vets are a money hole joke.
