~Can you tell long hair/short hair when they are babies?~

~Well my momma cat is white short haired, daddy????Traveling Salesman....Milkman??? Couple of my kittens seem alittle longer haired. Can you tell if a kitten is going to be long/short haired early on?~

i think you can , i have never had long haired kittens from birth , but iv seen them from 2 weeks old and you could tell then.

I've only had 1 litter of kittens but yeah, I could tell the day that they were born which were long and which were short hair.

~How can you tell I mean like Youssarian's hair is FLUFFY but short and the other 2 have sily hair which seems alittle longer than his. Anybody have pics of long/short hair kittens really young??~

I was a teenager at the time (so about 12 years ago

) All of the babies but one was longhair. The shorthair was just short fuzz and the longhaired kittens had longer silkier fuzz ? The longhaired ones got fluffier by the day and at a week old were little puffballs
