Can you give an example? I honestly thought it did give the newest first, whereas the old platform didn't. I can look into it a bit, not that I'll figure it out, but I can try.
I wanted to find posts on Purina Muse dry cat food, so I typed in muse and the results are not in order, they go 2016, then 2017, then 2015, they are not in any particular order.
When you go into the search dropdown, click on the red button that says 'More' on the bottom right. That will take you to the advanced search options. Enter your search term, then scroll to the bottom and select 'Most Recent'. The default is 'Relevance', which is why the search results don't automatically come up in date order
