I have a box of Terumo needles, individually wrapped, etc, that have a use by date of 03/2019. Since they are still in original packaging, I'm thinking they should still be sterile and good to use.

Does anyone know if it would be OK to use them? Thank you.

Almost everything medical has to have an expiration date. It's the law. The question is, do things always expire the minute that date is up? I would recommend contacting your pharmacy or vet to see if there is any harm in using them.

I was curious about this same question yesterday as I also have a box of Terumo needles left over from a previous cat that was getting sub-q fluids.
