...got him about 2 weeks ago. I didn't adopt from a shelter, as much as I wanted to. A temp worker's cat had kittens, so I took one. They were eventually going to end up at a shelter anyway, I just skipped that part. I have an appt next week for 1st check up. He's about 10 weeks now... and we have no idea what the dad is. Mom is dark.
After reading up on some of his markings, I've learned he's a tabby? I love how it looks like a bobcat! I am so excited with him. Both my husband and myself have fallen head over heels...

Yes, it's actually my name here- "serpico". Long story...and I compromised with the husband...the things we'll do for a kitten. It's a movie in the 70's with Al Pacino... and later depicted by a character in an episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia... I'm thankful it's a HE. lol I call him Pico for short.

It can mean "beak" as in birds, "peak" as for mountains or, and this is my favourite, a informal way of saying "kiss".
