I personally have had success with sliced turkey. Has to be less than 100mg sodium, no seasoning, raw or seared with no additives whatseoever.

Any kind of soft cat treat you can mould around a pill and the cats like will do. A bit of bland liverwurst usually works, too. I've had luck with cream cheese or mozzarella.

There are lots of pill doughs online besides Pill Pockets Cost varies. I use Earth's Balance bacon flavored pill paste for my cat's pills. I buy it from Amazon. I don't recommend the Flavor-Doh brand. It's too dry and crumbly. Search Amazon for "pet pill dough" and you'll gey a bunch of results. Other web sites like Chewy.com may have the same products.

I used to take some canned tuna or salmon and mold it around the pill. As long as whatever fingers are molding do not touch the pill its usually fine. My first cat refused to take the pill treat lol.
