Would a glass of Soya milk count towards your daily intake of fruit and veg as its made from soya beans?

I really did think that you just squeezed a soy bean to get the milk! lol!

I've never tried oat milk, might get some.Originally Posted by Ryn
Yup, soy seems to be healthy, at least for women: some recent studies seem to hint the oestrogen in it might not be so good for men. On the other hand cow milk does in my understanding contain a lot more oestrogen than soy milk, so I wouldnt worry about soy, men.
I prefer the taste of oat milk, I love tofu and soy "meat", but most soy milk products taste a bit weird to me. I did bumb into a new really tasty brand of soy based yoghurt last week though.
Precisely, and then they dare to say it's necessary for our well being. Mother Nature must have been very miffed indeed, when she realised she had just created a species that needs an other species' babyfood to be healthy.Originally Posted by maverick_kitten
I don't like the idea of drinking something meant for the infant of a different species. It's not like we drink dog milk and cat milk either so why cows milk?
Yes, I personally (without wanting to cause a debate) think that eating meat and eggs is natural.Originally Posted by Pombina
