There is this propane type smell in my laundry room where the furnace is..can they leak?
Hopefully it won't come to that! Have you PM'd contact info, though? (Just kidding!)Originally Posted by Trouts mom
Well they came down to take a whiff, and I guess they are using varathane upstairs to strip something...so it must be that they said. Gas smells different I guess..
Do me a favour though, If I suddenly disappear..you guys need to find my sister so she can sue my landlord for killing me and Trout kay?
Our school (and every other building for blocks) was evacuated a few months ago because of a gas leak across the street. Even turning on a light switch or ringing a door bell can cause an explosion if enough gas has escaped.Originally Posted by Zissou'sMom
I agree with everyone else. The gas company would WAY rather have come out there and said "Oh, no, no leak" than have you explode.
There was a gas leak in one of the restaurants near my work, and they closed off several city blocks including the busiest street in town, and had ambulances and fire trucks and police... it's no joke. Gas leaks are extremely dangerous.
