Budgies & The Air Quality

We have 11 budgies (aka parakeets) who live in a very large cage custom-made to be outside, including 4 babies. The air quality here is so poor because of the fires, and it's really not good for them to be outside with the fires right now. We can't really bring them in- 11 parakeets inside, not to mention the cat dog and fish, and the bunnies who are now being brought inside- we just don't have any space, not to mention enough cages, for them! Does anybody here by any chance have any advice or experience? We're in quite a pickle. Thank you very much!

Would it be possible to spread a wet sheet over the parakeets outside aviary, periodically wet it down and perhaps the fabric can trap some of the ash and noxious fumes

Do you have a garage? That way you could bring them in there for better air quality than being outside.

We do, but it isn't suitable for them. It gets way too hot and stuffy in there for them Thank you for your suggestion, though!!! Much appreciated!

In addition to the damp sheet, could you put an air purifier in with them?
