Does anyone know if you can breed a full blooded Persian with a full blooded Himalayan?
Also, at what age should cats be to start breeding?

Yup you would get mostly blues and they would be CPC - which the term is generally not as good as normal. Do you have pictures of your babies?
Sorry for the misunderstanding, it's just the way you said full blooded Persian & Himi as if there were two seperate breeds.

Hi there!
Welcome to TCS. I've got some good news for you. There is NO such breed as a Himalayan. Himalayan is the "Pointed" pattern of the Persian.
Sooooooooooo if you have breeding rights and you know what you breeding plan is (a lot of breeders don't like mixing their pointeds and their un pointeds because CPC's aren't the best!) then go right ahead.
So Persian = Himalayan. Don't worry it is a common mistake made.
Glad we could help out!Originally Posted by white cat lover
lol I feel stupid! I didn't know that Himis & Persians were the same breed! Good thing I came here to be educated. You have one gorgeous kitty there.
GoldenKitty, thanks for clarifying. I had no idea what CPC stood for(I still don't really know....if you want to educate me, feel free!).
