Breed?

Hello everyone....this is Luna Skye...she walked into our lives about a month and a half ago. We took her to the vet and was told she's just your average dmh but we still would like to know which breed. We think she might be Maine Coon mix but we are new to cats....so our guess is just as good as anyone. Could anyone here offer us some guesses too?

LOL there's no shame in checking out the toilet! What a fabulous cat!!
Colorwise, I'm not absolutely sure how this works, but I think she's considered a Tuxedo Bi-color (as opposed to a Tuxedo mitted).
Regarding breed influence, I LOVE her ears. I'm actually thinking more Siberian than Maine coon influence, her fur isn't that long.

Just did a little reading on Siberians and it makes perfect sense. My son is severely allergic to pet dander.... reason why I had to get rid of my dog.... but for some reason we have been wondering why he hasn't reacted to the cat. I keep telling my husband this choose us for a reason and it's like destiny. Thank you guys!

Because he is allergic to a protein in the dander, it may differ amongst dogs and cats, and even specific cats to each other. Being allergic to one doesn't necessarily mean allergic to all or both.
