Hello all,
Since about a week ago I noticed that when I pick up my 5 1/2 month old baby girl and turn her on her back she made these tiny wheezing sounds. I though it was because she was belly side up, so I stopped doing that.
Yesterday, I picked her up and she lay on my arm as I carried her through the house. When she had enough I set her down and noticed she has left a small goop of poop in my hand where my hand was about her butt position. She had never done this.
Upon closer inspection, I found that it was a mustard-like color, soft and a little bit glossy, there was also a side that was like mucus and had a bloody tinge. I picked her up again, raised her tail and looked at her anus and there was nothing stranger, dripping, dirty or weird on the outside. When I pulled her tail more I think I saw a little goop by she didn't like it so she tried to squirm away and I set her down.
I'm going to take her to the vet today after work since I can't take time off.
She has been spayed. Since the vet said people don't usually ask for cat vaccines he had to bring them specially for me but he sold them away in an emergency when someone needed to cross the border with their new found kitten (I had been calling every time he said they would come in for almost 2 months!). Anyways, this means she's only gotten her de-worming.
I'm very worried for my Princess Wanda, she's the runt of the litter and she hasn't grown as much as her brother. She has stayed tiny for the last 3 months growing very slowly.
Any idea what this could be or what I can do other than the vet to help her?
Thank you very much for reading
