Per the dental issue and possible extractions: Although they do require general anesthesia which always carries some risk, I've seen toothless cats chow down on kibble like it was mashed potatoes, once the healing is done.

So glad to hear kitties are still able to eat happily once getting extractions! I sure hope Gnocchi doesn't have to go down that road but if she does, it helps hearing such positive experiences with cats eating after. :)
