Blood In Loose Stool For My 13week Kitten

So ive been monitoring my 13 weeks tabby. I treated him with the worming pills for last 4-6 weeks as he had fleas all over him when i picked him up at 8 weeks. He also has been vaccinated with f4. And getting desexed and chipped this week. His dry poo seems ok when he eats dry food. However when i give him wet food, he seems to have loose stool and towards the end of the poo, he poos blood mucus. Its on and off ever since i picked him up. Hes super hyper and jumps on his tree and down, runs and jumps all over the house.. Does this happen to kittens?

Hi! No it's not normal. Can you send that photo to your vet, or better, take it with you/have it with you and take your baby in?

The super hyper is absolutely normal, but that bloody stool is not. He really should be seen by your vet, and take that picture with you. Nice job on a good, clear photograph, by the way.

Deworming pills won’t kill some parasites like giardia/coccidia, so he needs to have fecal test done to verify what’s eating him and then treated for it. This is not a healthy poo. How much does he weight? I wouldn’t have him spayed until he’s cleared of the parasite.

I put him on antibiotics for a week and, now it's gone. I believe it was coccidi
